Ok, you guys are so smart .. please help me ..

I got hold of a BT Voyager 220V Router and was hoping to set it up for my Grandad (who uses Tiscali), but the firmware is locked for BT Business Broadband.

I did a bit of searching around and found a pre-locked version of the software for 'any ISP', here :

http://corz.org/public/docs/comms/ro...Voyager%20220/

However, how do I upgrade the firmware via the XP telnet or hyperterminal frontend? I login fine with the user id and password, but I don't know the commands at all and the 'help' command within is as helpful as a chocolate teapot.

Alternatively, under '220V ISP Unlocked!' at :

http://corz.org/comms/hardware/route...ters.php#links

there is a 'javascript hack', but it states :

"IMPORTANT NOTE: This worked for me *AFTER* I had actually set up my new ISP (Eclipse) in the router's Telnet CLI - you will have to do this first. WAN settings are always VPI:0 VCI:38 PPPoATM, VCMUX encapsulation, and most other stuff can be left as default except your new ISP details. The above 4 steps simply allow you to CONNECT with your new ISP details AFTER the details are saved in the router."

What are the commands to set up my ISP details in the 'Telnet CLI'?

Any step by step instructions for either solution that you know may help me, would be awesome.
