  1. built my own years ago, old style arm chair, foam back foam seat wooden arms, fixed it with a drop leaf, coverd it with a large counter mat (sort of thing you get on a car parts counter) so i can lay my arm on it and run the mouse. sorted

  2. D'you mean the thing with Stirrups that I tie my wife too........

it won't take more than 5 seconds, promise

  4. My son got one last Christmas.

Dead easy to set up but I personally found it quite uncomfortable so it may be wise to try it out before you buy.

The sound was quite good - very powerful speakers (we paid a hundred quid for it).

Unfortunately it broke and when we returned it had to have a refund as it would appear to be a 'seasonal' gift - they dont sell them past February and I notice they are starting to appear in the shops again.

My son wasn't too bothered with the refund as the cash went toward his PS3 fund!

  5. nope. my hdtv and cheap sofa are good enough for me.

  6. you can try www.craigslist.com

  7. Yeah I got one. They're OK. Not worth more than 60$, you know, unless it's like a real chair thing, but they're pretty good.

  8. yeah, i got a rocker chair from best buy and it is pretty sweet. It takes about 5 minutes to set up at most (just slide the legs onto the seat). I recommend getting the cover for it too cuz it makes it more comfortable. Im 5'10 180lbs and it works fine (there is a strap included that allows for weights over 160 or something).

mine doesnt have speakers in it or anything but i already have surround sound, i just like the comfort. go for it!

btw, you can get a surround sound for around 50 to 100 dollars so if he just wants the chair for the speakers i would get the surround sound instead so you can watch movies and stuff too...
