Anyone got advice or sources of advice for performing at the edinburgh festival?

I and 2 others are intending on devising a show and getting funding and taking it to the edinburgh festival 2009.

Was wondering if anyone had any advice for us, or sources for advice other than the Edinburgh Festival Website guide, which costs £15 to subscribe to...i don't mind paying however i'd rather not!
