Anyone got any advice on studying medicine in Ireland?

Im currently duin my alevels in england - does anyone kno anythin bout the system of gettin in to medicine in irelad re the required a level grades etc and jus anythin to do wiv the application process - i'd luv to study in ireland n wud appreciate any answers! - sum1 explain to me lol! - is so hard to find the correct info on the web lol!

  1. It depends on what you want to do. the royal college of surgeons.ie might be a good place to start. the best of luck to you.


  2. I don't know anyone who's done medicine but I do know it's extremely competitive in Ireland & you really need to get very, very high grades - a friend went for medicine once & missed by about 10 points.  

    This link leads to the CAO/CAS, which is the Irish equivalent of UCAS, it should give you the information you need on applying to Universities in Ireland, the link should show you all the medical courses
