  1. you  could try getting some at elastic from your local craft shop and sewing a piece from one edge of the hood to the the other so that it fits under her chin.  like a hat strap.

  2. You'd be surprised at how well it will stay on. It will most likely fit snuggly around her head

  3. When we were born the hospital used to use cairo syrup to put the little bows on or heads before we left the hospital you could try that.

  4. it's nasty, but you could sew it onto a headband or ribbon.

  5. Have you thought about double sided tape? That's the first thing that came to mind. I know it sounds a bit weird, but it's worth a try. As far as getting her to keep it on for a while, I would train her to wear it. For several days, put it on her head for a few minutes at a time. She'll hate it at first, but eventually, with a little patience and tenacity on  your part, she'll be so used to it, she'll leave it alone. That way, you can test the double sided tape theory as well, to see how that holds up. I wish you luck!

Oh, I did NOT want you to think that I was trying to hurt the baby with my suggestion! I don't think you should apply so much pressure to the tape on the baby's head that you'd have to rip it off, causing her to be hurt. That would be horrible! The vision I had in my head was that you line the headress with the tape, making it have a grippy surface, easily removed, but more unlikely to slip off. If you applied any pressure from the headband to the baby's head while it had tape on it, that would be  horrible. I guess I wasn't clear enough. Sorry!

  6. aaaaaaw!  It's cute!!!

I agree - perhaps sew it onto a headband if it doesn't fit snugly - otherwise you may have to just keep pushing it down as it slides up!

  7. babies often dont like 'things' on their head.. even hats when its cold..

i suppose as long as it is a 'snug' fit.. you may have to constantly press it down?
