  2. painting stones. Good fun for OUTSIDE in this warm weather. My wee one loves it.

  3. Dance classes

    Find a play group

    Go to the park

    Bike rides

Play follow the leader, but at that age, you may want one adult in the front & one in the back

Teach them how to play hop scotch

    Tumble down hills

Teach them how to kick a soccor ball around

Take long walks - maybe to the store to get a treat

    Tumbling class

  4. Supervised swimming classes. They are good for developing gross coordination, muscle strenght and, afterall, they can be lifesavers in emergences. Also they are useful to detect and treat water fear, as well as too prevent it. Other than that you can try soccer (useful for getting coordination and condition, and not as difficult as other sports in rules or complex coordination as basketball, for example)

    Parachute games

Go for a walk around outside looking at the wiorld around them.

Cars and trikes! Set out a course to follow...can bring in road safety!

Or just a good old run around on the field with balls and hoops! Let them be spontanteous esp the birth to three kids!

  9. Bend and Stretch

    Balance Beam Walks

    Simon Says

    Hokey Pokey

    Looby Loo

    Tumbling on a Mat

  10. trampolines are great fun and bouncy castles

  11. Running after bubbles. A kiddie karate class. Do like I do.... it will be good exercise for you too. Bend and walk and stretch and run. I used to walk a lot lot lot with my kids to get to places like the zoo or different play grounds in a large park. Now we moved to Florida so we walk to the Mall instead... just for the h**l of it, obviously you cannot buy anything because it is a pain to carry back home. We average a few miles. Also we used to walk around a lake and look for the laces where the ducks and swans have their nests... of course we did not disturb the area or even go in, but we would observe their secret world.

  12. If you are happy and you know it, head shoulder knees and toes, here we go round the mulberry bush, the famrers in his den, on our way to london.  here we go (walking down the road)

bikes, climbing frames, balls, hop scotch, trampoline, balance beams, parachutes.

  13. Hi, are you looking for activities for indoors or outdoors? When you say physical do you mean large gross motor skills (i.e. balance & co-ordination) or fine gross motor skills (i.e. hand to eye co-ordination, manipulative skills, etc). I have loads of information which i am willing to share you just need to be a little more specific. I have run pre schools & after school provisions for 20 years & teach in further education (childcare, playwork & education) so have plenty of info I could email to you.
