  1. The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger is really, really good lol. I love it, and it has been made into a movie which is being released in December. It's a love story about a time traveler. Also, any books by Jodi Picoult are good, but The Pact, My Sister's Keeper, The Tenth Circle and Nineteen Minutes are especially good, and involve teenagers, so may be more applicable/interesting to you. Or maybe you could try a classic like Little Women or Gone With the Wind. These are both about the American Civil War, but are classic and romantic. Hope these helped, as these are my favourites!

  2. A book I read recently that I enjoyed very much is 'Temping Fate' by Esther Friesner.  It's about a high school student who takes a summer job working for a very unusual temping agency and finds herself working for the Three Fates from Greek mythology.  It is very amusing with a clever plot, lots of good characters, and a dash of romance.

Meg Cabot's books are good fun, I particularly enjoyed 'Teen Idol' about a girl who has to look after a film star who comes to her school incognito to research a part, and the complications it causes in her life.

  3. russell brand, my booky wook is the best book ever! and i've read lots of books.

  4. The Twilight Series

  5. TWILIGHT- STEPHANIE MEYERS

THERE ARE 4 BOOKS ALTOGETHER TRUST ME THEY ARE ACTAULLY AMAZING READ THEM I LOVED THEM SO MUCH

  6. I'm 17, and here are some of my favorite books. I've included a short review for each just so you can get an idea for what the book is like... :)

A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks

A review from amazon.com: In 1958 Landon Carter is a shallow but well-meaning teenager who spends most of his time hanging out with his friends and trying hard to ignore the impending responsibilities of adulthood. Then Landon gets roped into acting the lead in the Christmas play opposite the most renowned goody two-shoes in town: Jamie Sullivan. Against his best intentions and the taunts of his buddies, Landon finds himself falling for Jamie and learning some central lessons in life.

Mara, Daughter of the Nile by Elois Jarvis McGraw

It takes a few pages to get into this story, but then you won't be able to put it down. This book follows the adventures of an Egyptian slave girl who becomes a spy for two people--for the man she has come to love and for this man's greatest enemey. Mara, Daughter of the Nile is a combination spy thriller, historical fiction, and romance novel.

The Shadow of the Bear by Regina Doman

This book isn't very well known, so it might be hard to find, but if you can find it, it is *well* worth it. It's a modernized re-telling of the fairy tale--"Snow White and Rose Red." This book is an enchanting love story with a pulse-pounding storyline and likeable characters. Another one you can't put down!

    Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë

Again, from amazon.com: "Having grown up an orphan in the home of her cruel aunt and at a harsh charity school, Jane Eyre becomes an independent and spirited survivor—qualities that serve her well as governess at Thornfield Hall. But when she finds love with her sardonic employer, Rochester, the discovery of his terrible secret forces her to make a choice. Should she stay with him whatever the consequences or follow her convictions, even if it means leaving her beloved?"

The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare

From amazon.com: "Forced to leave her sunny Caribbean home for the bleak Connecticut Colony, Kit Tyler is filled with trepidation. As they sail up the river to Kit's new home, the teasing and moodiness of a young sailor named Nat doesn't help. Still, her unsinkable spirit soon bobs back up. What this spirited teenager doesn't count on, however, is how her aunt and uncle's stern Puritan community will view her. In the colonies of 1687, a girl who swims, wears silk and satin gowns, and talks back to her elders is not only headstrong, she is in grave danger of being regarded as a witch. When Kit befriends an old Quaker woman known as the Witch of Blackbird Pond, it is more than the ascetics can take: soon Kit is defending her life. Who can she count on as she confronts these angry and suspicious townspeople?"

Some of the descriptions might sound cheesy or boring, but all of these books are *really* interesting, and *really* good (they're the kind that you "can't put down"!). :)

(Several other good ones are Calico Captive, Johnny Tremain, The Moonstone, The Bronze Bow, To Kill a Mockingbird.)

    Happy reading!
