Hi.

Has anyone got any tips for putting on make up, and the colors?

I'm pale, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Also with Mascara, why does it always go all clumpy, and how do I stop this from hapening?

Thanks!

  1. you shoud use a light green eyeshadow because it will bring out the color of your eyes

  2. hey (:

i have pale skin too (:

what works best for me is....

..... a translucent concealer around the darker patches of your face for example the eyes, and then a candle colour foundation i would not use mousse though it tends to leave the face dry ): i mean i have blue eyes so i prefer my eyes to stand out with eyeliner on the lower eye.

I also had the same problem with mascara so i would say use something like avon super shock or No7 lash 360 they work best for me also try and wipe the brush as you pull it out of the tube as it tends the gather and i would also recommend you use eye lash curlers as they give a bigger-longer effect but make sure your mascara is dry before you do this as they will just stick together (:

  3. i have reallt dark brown eyes so i use purple a lot it its cute but not to girly you and girl it down or spice it up depending on the shade of purple and how you use it. i usually line my eyes in dark purple and black mascara. Other times I like my eyes in black and put dark purple on my eyelids then a lighter purple above that and blend then a really really light purple or white under my eyebrow and blend it really well you can hardly see the other two unless you look closely but the dark purple is noticable and looks really neat.

Umm.. I use MAC mascara and it doesnt clump I guess its just how much you put on or something not sure about that one sorry.

I wear a reddish color and lighten it when this light brownish color fro NYC its not really brown pearly maybe i dont know but its makes it shinyer and less red and more of a pink purple then gloss it and good to go. Sense you are pale i dont think i would go with super dark colors not sure some look really good some dont.

Dont use the regular eyeshadow brushes they make it splochy use like an actual brush like the blush brush but smaller haha. Try and use lose powder or somewhat lose the extreme compact stuff is horrid. Liquid eyeliner is a big no no unless you are extremely good even then i would try and stay away its uneven unless you get one quick swipe.

Use a liquid foundation as a base then a pressed wet foundation to cover up extremely noticable spots blend and tap on some pressed powder to lose the shine and make it less noticeable that you have foundation on.

I can give you names of products so you know what i mean by pressed wet and blah blah blah haha.

color wise purples, browns, some greens. i like to put purple then pink and blend a bit it makes for a neat affect haha. So some pinks. Umm... whites and blacks of course haha.

make sure to always put some extreme light color light under your eyebrows it makes the pop and brings your whole eye color and make up together more.

  4. Use a peachy blush, and on the apple of you're cheeks a spot of light pink. Use light colours on you're eyelids to contrast with you're dark brunette hair. Light colours will help you're eyes to stand out more.

And for lips, a mix between natural colours and deep reds results in a perfect finish. -Use vaseline to achieve a natural look.

Buy a good mascara, MAX FACTOR is always a good make for seperation between each eyelash. But if you want a more expensive range, try clinique, benefit, or best of all- MAC.

  5. Ok, you are absolutely gorgeous!!! I think your eyes would look beautiful with a dark shade of purple shadow in the crease of the eye, and a light shade of lilac on the lid. Put a bit of white shimmer shadow under your brow and a bit of eyeliner and you would look awesome!

For the mascarra problem, triy getting a mascarra that has a "comb" type wand instead of the clumpy brush types. And if necissary ( icant spell that word haha) scrape off the access mascara from the brush or wipe the brush a bit with a papaer towel.

    good luck!

  6. as for colors (for a natural look)  you could go for some golds and browns on your eyes, and a nude/pink lipstick. I like shell from Mary Kay. As for eyes I like honey spice, amber blaze, and cinnibar

For cheeks go with pink petals

Apply the honey spice all over your lid to brow focusing under the brow for extra lift. Amber in the crease, cinnibar in the outter corner of your eye lid. Brown eye liner

As for your mascara, make sure your mascara is no older than 3 months. No matter how rare you use it, it still grows bacteria after the first use. Also try using 2 thin coats vs 1 thick coat.

for an evening look you can add a berry lip gloss or a wine colored lipstick with clear gloss on top.
