Has anyone got any of the new design coins in their change yet? I've had some 2008 1p and 2p coins, but with the old designs...

I got the new Mexico coin. That was a week ago. I'm from Philadelphia.

Oklahoma and New Mexico Quarters are the only ones that I've seen for 2008 so far.

No. I love getting shiny new coins though! Hopefully I'll be able to collect a full set of the new ones soon ;)

They have not been released into circulation yet. They plan to do it gradually in the near future. Currently the Royal Mint is offering them to collectors at inflated prices hoping to cash in.
