  1. yes

surprised me i got a cat

  2. Me.  I was taken to court and the onus was on me to prove that my dog did not savage this woman who walked through out property on the public footpath.  My dogs ran up barking, they lifted their walking stick in rage and started bellowing, the dogs barked more and as they shouted and the husband of the couple waved the stick at my dogs, one of the darted forward and nipped the woman on the side of the knee.  She later called police and said that the bite was so bad that it ripped through her trousers (it most certainly did not) and that the blood was so bad it was pouring down her leg (it definitely was not!)

I concede there may have been bruising - but even in the court case there were no fotos only reference to them, at no time did I see them or was allowed to.  Their tale of events differed throughout their own statement and from each other.

I was made out to be the villain of the piece, was bound over, the dogs now have to be restrained at all times outside the main garden area and if they are not they can be taken at any time and put down - which is what was promised would happen.  These people didnt even attend court.  The solicitor I had was c**p and I basically just had to comply with everything.  I was fined £300 and bound over and it is on record that I keep a dangerous dog.

They are guard dogs and this was pointed out.  They are there to stop people wandering around the stables and in and out of the barns - which they do - and to protect me when I am up there alone.

Its also a little known fact that even if the dog doesnt bite, it can still be considered dangerous and a liability even if all it does is rush up and down a secure fence line barking at anyone who passes.

    So be warned!
