Anyone had braces , who lives in newzealand on here?

hEy there Im a twenty year old with a case of an open bite. I was told by a girlthat you can get work and income to pay 500 and you go through a public hopsital and pay five hundred or somethiong for them to do the braces. I f any one has any advice on this or has had it dont, new zealand only please. can you get back to me
