Anyone had hallucinations whilst on a ventilator or nursed icu patients?

I was ventilated for 10 days after bowel surgery c**k up. I had horrific hallucinations during that time and strangely knew when other patients had died. Anybody else had experience of this

 I had emergency surgery and was in ICU for ten days and ventilated for part of it.  I had horrific hallucinations and believed I had brought infection in the hospital and that everyone was trying to make me ill.
