Anyone has a JVC TH-D5 Home Theatre System?

I would like to understand what are the comments of the users who has this unit. Is JVC common HT systems as good as Pioneer ones?

I don't have one, but I am sure you can find several Pioneer HTIB systems that are much better quality then some JVC HTIB systems and vise-verse.  The best way to find out if you like it is to actually hear it and hook it up to your own personal TV.  Different DVD players look better on different TVs.  There are plenty of options out there if you are looking for a Home Theater in a Box.  Don't just limit yourself to JVC and Pioneer.  I would recommend checking out a HTIB system that comes with Klipsch or Polk speakers.  They both sell great sounding speakers that are sold with a lot of different retail HTIB systems.  I also took a quick glace as the JVC TH-D5 and it looks like it puts out plenty of power and the HD upscaling is a nice feature along with the Ipod dock (if you have one).  You may also want to look into building your home HT system.  Hope this helps you just a little bit.
