  3. I was in a car that flipped over on a mountain road back in December of 06. It was a hard thing to go through and was the first time I had ever come close to death. When the ambulance and firemen arrived they claimed me and my cousin(who was driving) should have been killed. But thankfully we didnt. 7. I had a shark circle around me in the Gulf of Mexico..I made all kinds of promises to God that I didn't keep. I should have! But the kind you're talking about...I might have had. Somebody had done something to  me really bad...maybe drugged me..or worse. Things in my past came through my mind REALLY FAST. I thought I was going to die. It was horrible...and I couldn't tell anybody.  I was pacing in circles. It was like my brain was on fire. Wish I knew what they did to me. I've researched drugs and found some similar side effects there..but I'm still not sure.My head still hurts from it.!

333.. That was a REAL NDE !! Glad you survived it! What you said about speaking telpathically  and how it sounded the same with no sound though..that's what it was like for me when the rhymes came. Loud..but no "voice'out loud. Very clear! That's why I can't understand why EVPs are so hard to understand! Maybe they should learn to speak telepathically to ghosts on Ghost Hunters etc.!

  8. yea, I choked on a life saver when I was 4-5ish and my brother saved me =).

  9. yeahh, we were drving in snow, going on a main street, the car was slidding and it woudln't stop...there was a big truck coming...but the car stopped in the right timing...loool, i was shaking for an hour after...lol

    nice topic tho!

  10. I've almost died more times than I can remember.  The only thing approaching a traditional "Near death experience" was at 16 I had spinal meningitis and was in a Coma for 10 days.  During that time I recalled or dreamed or don't really know which, my entire life up to that time.

  11. A car crash 3 years ago.

A spinal operation 1 year ago...

  12. I'm already getting too much spam, no thanks.

  13. Nice topic...

I used to read a lot about this in a while, in the books i've found on the local city library... i was curious...

One day finnaly HAPPENED TO ME TOO, in a quite embarassing way i might say: i was traveling, on a buss, it was night and a lot of noise inside the car... i was chewing some stupid extra mentholated chewing gum, in a second i chocked so bad that i couldn't even caugh like i was supposed too, my air ways ware like totally blocked, instantly my heart went extremely fast, my hands from shoulders started to fell "sleepy"... what i do remember exactly is the frustration of getting such a stupid way to end, since i was very conscious that i can't cover the noise (not that lowd though) in the car to ask for help (i was somewhere in the back, quite alone...) while the d**n juice was like burning my lungs; after strugleing a litle last thing i remember about that momment is leaning my forehead on the chair in front of me, like giving up and only felling sorry for only one person.. my mom.. "boy, what a surprise will she have!" i thought...

I was surprised to find my self sarcastic to the last momment; on the other hand there was no quick flashbacks, but there was a huge amount of guilt, frustration for a meaningless death and no ability to fight a little piece of gum, and sorrow as i said... A nice detail would be the rush of the momment, the instincts of survival (useles in this particular case) made my brain work so fast looking to an escape (lol) that everything seemed to flow in slow motion endeed...

after falling with my head on the chair in front of me i think i wake up in a mather of seconds.. only probably due to the fact that my instinctive autoprotective crouched (fetal?) position was changed so my head had a relative leaned backward position because of the chair in front of me, allowing me to breathe .. probably...... sweet picture... . When i woke up my entire body felt like a huge pumping heart, also like a huge "sleepy leg woken up", lol, what a time! I could hear pretty clear the beats in my years/head .. everywehere lol. ......I don't think bungy jumping beats that sensation. However, strange and interesting how you get to feel a need to thank to someone afer something like this..

I use to choke more and more often with lots of various foods (lol thogh i dont eat too much.. i have 60 kg on my height of 1.80 m :) ) but i am starting to feel i get a good skill in managing the situation.

OK, now you all can laugh of my episode, i sure still do..

... next time maybe i will tell you about my delirational nights of extra high temperatures... lol ... and ofcourse maybe the last episode (comming soon? :P)

Thank you all for your attention !

  14. Yes - 17% of test pilots subjected to high G forces.  Bright lights, out-of-body experiences, dead relatives, Jesus, the whole works.  But they were in no danger of dying.  Which lead psychologists to conclude that it's your brain's way of freaking out and trying to calm you down while it works on the problem.  A stressed, tense person is more likely to be injured than a calm, relaxed person.

Here's an interesting study done on heart attack patients who experience NDEs.  http://profezie3m.altervista.org/archivi...

  15. During a cardiac stress test, I went into full cardiac arrest and was clinically dead for about 3 minutes...  They had to shock me twice with the paddles...  Sorry; but there was no comforting white light, music, or dead folks from my past.  Instead; there was a huge, blue/gray nuclear-type cloud billowing out toward me.  It was boiling with fire, and I was terrified that it would consume me.  Their was a brief blackout, then, I suddenly regained consciousness in the midst of my code blue.  I suffered with PTSD for years after that, and still take a low-dose of Paxil just to make sure I never have a panic attack again.  Death for me was not pleasant at all.  I sure don't want to experience anything like that again - yet I don't know how to stop the inevitable?

  16. I encourage you to read the back and forth between Michael Shermer and Deepak Chopra.  You shouldn't have any difficulty finding it.

Also, no view of NDEs would be complete without listening to Dr. Mark Crislip's review of the above-mentioned dialog as well as his clinical dissection of the NDE phenomenon.

  18. yes i have when i was 8

my mom saved my life =]

i was playing with marbles in my room and i put one in my mouth and i swallowed it. So at this point i was choking, i was turning red, tears were coming out of my eyes.

i ran to my mom's room, and i started to hit my chest really hard and she soon figured out i was chocking

she quickly did the hymlick and it popped right out

if she wasnt there i would have been dead ='[

  19. I was riding my bike with my friend to the store on a busy day, and on the way back home, WE looked both ways, and a big truck was feet from hitting me. Close one.

  20. Yes ive had one... I was waiting for an ambulance, i was laying on the ground, with the police holding me..i knew that would be it, you can feel it, when your about to die..I kept telling myself, just keep my eyes open, and as long i could see everything, i knew i was still alive, i was even telling the police, what clour cars were driving past... But after a little bit, it all got to much, and i remember at that second, i let go..and it was all over in a split second.. The pain, the fear stopped, I found myself in a grey foggy realm, a total blessing, and i felt nothing, completely numb, and free... I was met by a friend, who had passed away...he was standing there with me, and we spoke telepathically, without using our mouths or words..at all...we spoke clearly through our minds...it sounded just like words...(it was an awesome experience), i told him i wanted to stay, and he told me, no i had to go back...and in a split second, i woke up again, with the ambulance there...and i went back to feeling horrible again... the strange thing, i had lost my memory, i didnt even know my name, or where i lived...but when i had the NDE, i knew excatly who was who, and who i was....I didnt see the white light...but just a grey foggy realm...maybe, cause the person who met me there, had just died a week before...who knows......

  23. I ran across a road once, and a car going at 40mph zipped past where my foot had been. evrything goes in slow motion. then you feel slightly shocked afterwoods. I could feel the air on my face

  24. During ambulance ride for heart attack, EMT at side was perfect clarity, one at my feet was obscured by a light brighter than the sun coming thru the ambulance back door windows. Didn't hurt the eyes though. Asked the EMT at feet if "he could pull down a shade, that light's so bright I can't see you too well". Looked like trying to see him in front of a big store searchlight.

They hurried up and got moving after that comment......

  25. Years ago my husband & I were in Dallas Texas & we were almost in a tragic car accident.  I remember during those last few minutes I saw my life flash before me at top speed.  Like a movie being fast forwarded at high speed.   It was a very scary & a weird feeling.    Another time I was in the hospital pregnant & their were complications.....I had an infection dry birth.   I remember having convulsions & I saw my body down below ..  I had experienced astral projection .  I watched the nurse rush in & give me an injection to counteract the convulsions.   As I watched from above I felt peacefull.  It was like watching someone else .  When I re-entered my body I began crying & I felt really scared because I realized I had came very close to death.    I have always been Clairaudient & I believe those two events in my life allowed me to experience the near dealth experiences......& remember it.
