Anyone have ANY suggestions?

okay i was going to paint my toe nails and the cap to the bottle was already screwed off and i didn't know it and it fell and is ALL over my floor by my bed and i am home alone right now but i need ANY suggegstions at all even if they are crazy on how to get the nail polish off my floor... my dad will have my head if he sees it as bad as it is becasue this is a fairly new house with new carpet not in the near future so if anyone has suggestions on what to do with things you might find laying around an average house that would be fantastic

The longer to polish sits the harder it will be to get out.  Contact your dad as soon as possible.  FYI.  Oxi-clean will get it out, but will take alot of elbow grease.

Buy carpet cleaner if you haven't got any. Preferably a foam as it can get out strong stains effectively. Do NOT put nail polisher remover on the carpet. You could hide it and call a specialist out to get it out, if you have the money too.

Tell your dad what happened when you have tried to clean it up.

Put water AROUND the stain to keep it moist so it doesn't dry out, do this until you can get a stain remover.

Scrape up as much as possible with a spoon or blunt edged knife.

Always work towards the centre of the spillage to avoid spreading.

Blot up liquids with a clean cloth, towel or kitchen paper using plain warm water to dampen the spill without rubbing.

Do not rub the stain. Always blot it up.

Do not try to dry it out by applying heat.

Do not use solvents, detergents, turpentine or other solutions.
