Well, they are really expensive: $240 million. Now, I would believe that if you were like a President or something like that, you'd order a Boeing 747. The Boeing 747 is actually only cheaper: somewhere around $120 million. But the A380 has been proved to be about 50% quieter than B747,

pollutes about 20% less than B747, has a fresher cabin than B747 (better air circulation, and uses less energy (Because the A380 has 220 windows on the airplane, their website says that the natural sunlight could provide some light, instead of using the electrical ones.
