Anyone have Solange's new CD?

Well, I do I kinda like it. The more I listen to it, the more it grows on me. I like the songs "I Decided", "Sandcastle Disco", "T.O.N.Y", "Cosmic Journey" and "Valentines Day". So what songs do you like on the CD? What do you think about the CD in general?

Nice album, but after that incident with the interviewer, I will not buy the CD.

It's a pretty good album!!   I have to admit... I wasn't sure about Solange's voice... BUT, I'm DIGGIN' her style... the production on her album is pretty good... and   "T.O.N.Y." is kinda of the song that sold me on the album... that's a good song.

And actually she's not a bad singer... she stays true to her

thang... Very Cool!!

EDIT:   Solange got a TOP TEN album!!   I think HER fanbase (which is more an underground soul crowd, NOT an 'urbab pop' crowd) didn't need that much convincing.

I was going to get the album BUT, on the news  she was talking to the host like a spoiled brat..i hate that.. I'm not going to support someone with that attitude toward her fans.

no i didnt buy it. i like the i decided song but listened to a few more tracks such as that sandcastle disco and that one with lil wayne and wasnt feeling them at all.

I like  the song Sand Castle Disco, but I have not bought the album and I probably won't . She seems to have a problem being compared to or even asked about her sister.She could have handled the interview incident a whole lot better than what she did. I know that she's trying to do her own thing but no one would know who she is if it were'nt for her sister. Also she says her album is influenced by music of the 60's and 70's sound. This is after Beyonce plays a character who's music is also from that era in Dream Girls. How ironic. She should be proud to be compared to such a talented person. Taking offense to it makes her appear jealous even if she's not. She could have been more classy and dealt with the producers off air during that interview. Even though she thought it was live. That way it would have made her look like the one who handled it with poise instead of the diva ***** we saw on the t.v. She'll have to do some serious convincing to her poitential fans if she wants to be as successful and respected as her sister.
