Anyone have a Blackberry Pearl?? If so, how do you like it?

I am thinking of getting a Blackberry pearl and would like to know if its a good device to have? Does it work like it should or is it a piece of c**p? If you don't like it, what else would you get? Thanks!

Personally no I don't. The keys are way to small and it's slow and does not take very good pictures. The only cool thing is the intranet is easy good one. I would suggest the Glyde by Samsung. I have one now it's great!

I have the BlackBerry Pearl (model 8120) and really like it. I have somewhat big hands and I can still type at a pretty fast clip (45-51 words at my fastest). The camera works great for me (have to make sure you are taking the pictures with lots of light) and the device is fast and stable. I mainly use it for messagign and it is perfect. I can send e-mails and text messages; picture messages; instant message; surf the Internet; use Facebook; record video; and manage contacts, tasks, notes and calendar. I highly recommend the BlackBerry device. Another popular model right now is the BlackBerry Curve.

Blackberry pearl is nice if you dont mind pressing the  same key twice just to get that letter. I went with the bb curve. I like that one better cause it has a querty keyboard.

Piece of c**p....

a few of my friends have them, so Iv'e gotten to play with them and I don't like them at all...

I have the Palm Centro and I love it!! The web browser is Great!!! much better than the Pearl's web browser!..The typing takes some getting used too (an hour tops) but it's still better than the Pearl's

The Centro is the main competetor to the Pearl and It's around the same price...

... I find the Blackberry Menu interface to be Very Dull, unatractive,quirky and not very user-friendly, whereas the Palm interface is very user-friendly and much easier for texting,email, and web browsing.

The Centro has a touchscreen too which is really cool!!

The Palm Centro is an EXCELLENT phone,( Soooo easy to use,ENORMOUS amount of features, Google maps, Telenav, and so much more... it's just great all around) You will have so much fun with it, figuring out all the cool things you can do! Don't listen to these Blackberry maniacs. The palm operating system is just superior overall to the Blackberry OS (RIM)

....I HIGHLY recommend the PALM CENTRO over the Blackberry Pearl!!
