  1. The cons would be; the keyboard is rather small and cramped. My hands aren't that small and I mastered it pretty fast, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with large hands. I suppose the big screen isn't too great either. Also, the speaker is just one small thing on the back and sounds odd if faced upside down on a table or something. I always face mine upside down because of that.

The pros? There are so many! The touchscreen is the most obvious. The QWERTY keyboard is obviously another pro. It's extremely easy to use and simple, and you can completely customize all the menus and all that. The software that comes with it is great and it's extremely easy to sync it from your phone to computer. If you're a big texter, it's definitely a great phone for you. What I love about it is the "chat view"- where your texts are set up as a conversation (resembles an IM convo, kind of). It's durable. The battery life is nice and the pic quality is pretty nice too. The applications are great and I love pTunes.

About the package for email; yeah, you'd have to buy a plan for that. You don't have to buy the application but you have to buy a data plan. To do that, you'll have to call your cell phone provider and tell them what you want. They'll give you prices and rates and all that.
