I've heard they are amazing, but how do they work for you? How much was it?

  1. I was at a meet this weekend with available LZR racers for rent. They are wearable for warm-up, you can do anything in them you can do in a normal suit (which involves practicing, if you want to get used to them) They have a unique fabric which makes it feel as if you are floating through the water.

They don't necessarily work for everyone though. I put one on and added a couple seconds, but that's just me. Some people feel bubbles aound their stomach and thighs and that's normal. Also, the suits been known to create almost like a bucket of water when you dive in. But that's one of the only known flaws.

The suit I'm getting for Nationals is going to be about $136 but thats with a large discount. The usual ones cost around 500 depending on if you are getting a knee, body, or highneck.

They really are a huge inmprovement over the Pros, but you can get times without them. My coach tells us not to place to much hope in the suits because with out the work, you won't go the time. But people are going amazing times and if you can, definitely get the suit!

    Good Luck!

  2. i have one! i have broken 3 records in it!  I keep it in very good condition. Here are some tips for keeping it in good condition. Don't sit down unless you have like a towel or shorts or something on while you are wearing the suit. Don't warm up in it. Wear your practice suit then change right before your 1st event. Never practice in it! Rinse it out with water after your meet. I get a new 1 every 2 years. Next year i am getting the one that the olympic people wear. It is supposed to be the fastest suit ever made! Mine was $300 for the black and gray one. If you want 1 with a different color they are going to cost more!

  3. I have one. It is not a full body, but just like a regular suit. I got it for $15.00. You can't find one this cheap anywhere. Our swim coach was selling them because they were worn once or twice.

  4. I have the LZR fast skin. they are $500. But they tear easaly, so if u get one be careful. I havent broken any records but all of my times have improved.

  5. i dont have one but i would love one... are you talking about the LZR suit that all the swimmers are breaking world records in at the moment... because if you are i have some info about them i could give you.  please write the necessary information about what you are actually talking about.
