  1. I have used this myself on red wine and it did come out.

SIMPLE SOLUTION Stain and Odour Remover.

You don't need a miracle to remove stubborn stains and odours, just a Simple Solution.

More than just an ordinary deodoriser, Simple Solution completely eliminates all organic stains and odours.

We're talking urine, vomit, faeces, blood, dirt, grass, red wine,Juice, coffee, tea, baby formula and more. Matter of fact, Simple Solution works the first time, every time! Guaranteed!

I use it to clean up after my Yorkie and it does work, its available at Pets at Home,  most good Pet Shops or Online.

  2. FIrst salt to lift the stain and the club soda.  My aunt's wine rack fell over and 10 bottles of red wine broke on her cream carpet and she used salt and club soda then I tried it when someone spilled wine in my dinning room and both times the stain came out and you would never know it was there.

  3. oxy clean

  4. Soda Water. Just cover the area with soda water and dab to soak up. Just keep applying as necessary till stain removed.

  5. First use some club soda on the stain and THEN follow up with Oxy Clean, it really does work!

  6. One of my gf's had this problem, and she swore that the Wal-Mart version of "oxy clean" worked like magic!  It's in a blue bottle (or it's a blue liquid in a clear bottle, lol) and it's a spray.  Good luck!

  7. Dont count on me on this.. but i've heard white wine helps to get it out :S

  8. is it fresh? if so pour salt and white wine over the stain and leave to soak, repeat after an hour then clean as normal.

  9. Oooo..Oooo...I know this one! First, you use Oxy Clean using a very hot water solution. Also, use the recommended formula for really tough stains. Then, you blot, blot, blot, blot. Don't rub, just blot. If the stain is still there, then repeat with the OxyClean solution and blotting.

I had some old red wine stains on a white sofa and the OxyClean solution took them right out. I was amazed and became an OxyClean convert right then and there. I used a steam cleaner to suck the moisture out instead of blotting, so if you have a steam cleaner at your disposal, that will really help in sucking out the excess moisture.
