That 39 year old outboard should be priced at less than 300 bucks. Parts will be a problem, and I am not sure, but it may even need a pressure tank with a double line fuel hose, very expensive in this day and age. In addition, it will burn gas like pouring it out of a bucket.

  Small older outboards keep their value up better than then any over about 15 horse power, but the larger models don't last as long and their value drops fast.

  Unless you like restoring antiques I'd stay away from it.
