Anyone have a good horror story dealing with public transportation?

I didn't experience this myself, but a flight attendant friend of mine told me about a creepy incident a few months ago. The plane was beginning to land, so she got into that seat where flight attendants sit. It was facing a row of passengers. She noticed that the guy near the window was REALLY staring at her and although it freaked her out, she smiled nicely. Then she noticed that there seemed to be a little TOO much movement under his blanket. It dawned on her what was going on at that point. She couldn't really do anything about it though since they were landing, except request that he stop. *Ick*

I have one from when I was in Korea. I was the last passenger on the bus at night and the bus driver thought I was a Russian prostitute. He tried to solicit s*x from me, and wouldn't let me leave through the back doors. He made me walk past him and leave from the front.

I was more pissed than scared though...

It was a dark and stormy night.  The darkness was broken only by a bitty little headlight of a bus, in the far off distance, somewhere up near the cemetery.  Between the random crackles of lightning, one could hear the screeeech of a rusty bus door as it opened and closed to embark and disembark the ghoulish looking passengers, whose faces were pale from too much time on their butts, and a poor ventilation system on the bus that left them breathing stale air for hours.

As the door opened at the 3rd stop by a cemetery...

Oh wait! Is this supposed to be fiction or nonfiction?

Yeah, while sit on back of a bus to mall taken a nap, there was couple guys sat by the back doors yelling screaming throwing gang sign at couple black guys walking by bus stop.  20 minutes later while they getting off a bus laughing and acting like a real mexican gangs, 1 black guy ran up from no where behind a bus and  took out a small hand gun type police use ...shot both of them.  One in the neck the other ran he shot him upper body some where, put gun back in his jacket and run across street disappear in the alley.

As soon as the bus driver heard gun shot he step on the gas

I try to look back but only see couple guys lay dead or injured on the ground and everyone ran for cover.

No one on the bus seem to care or talk about it,everyone goes about their business and get off the at the mall.

It's kind of funny actually. I used to take an early morning train from LI to Manhattan to school. I was 18 at the time. Since it was ultra early and I was a party girl back then, I used to fall asleep on the train with my ticket sticking out of the books on my lap. The conductor was always the same. Eddie. He would punch my ticket, put it back and wake me in NY. One day I wake up hearing this commotion and laughter and voices. I look behind me and there is a nutjob street kind of guy standing on the seat behind me preaching and I mean LOUD ... And I am the subject of his sermon. I guess I had a very short skirt on or a low cut top and I was this guy's sinner of the day. I wake up hearing "Save this child from the throes of sin. Deliver her from evil. Save her from eternal damnation. Keep her from an eternity in h**l." Everybody is hysterical. I got up, grabbed my books and RAN off that train as fast as I could. I guess I should have stayed and thanked him. I don't think it worked anyway. I think I'm still headed for damnation. But it sure was a funny morning.

Yeah.  One time I didn't take it, and I was backed up in traffic for an HOUR waiting to get on the bridge, while buses rolled past me at 50 mph.
