Anyone have a good pergola plan?

we've googled free pergola plans, and have had mixed results. some are just a photo that is too small to figure out. anyone know of a good site for free pergola plans? or have first-hand experience with building one? especially am interested to learn the various ways to attach the second layer of beams. thanks!
