Anyone have a good suggestion for a training DVD on volleyball?

Our team just started playing this week and we are looking to learn basic fundamentals to hopefully improve by seasons end.

  1. The best DVD's are the ones by Murv Dunphrey (Pepperdine Men's) and John Dunning (Stanford Women).  There are a bunch of other coaches who have good videos as well (Mary Wise and Al Scates are the next best ones).  Good Luck.


  2. Check out the sports performance/great lakes center volleyball shop. They sell vball mechanics videos. I'm thinking about buying some myself.

  4. hire a club or Junior college coach for PRIVATE LESSON.

    i would not recommend high school coach unless s/he is a big school coach.
