But I really like this hat...And don't want it to be ruined. I got it when our schools JV/Varsity teams went to St. Louis for Spring Training. It's white with red stripes and a red bill. I don't know if it can go through the washer or not because of the way its colored and because i dont want it to get ruined....

  1. Stick it in the dishwasher. That's what I do with mine and all of my friends. It cleans them fine, plus they don't smell like laundry soap and they don't lose their shape.

  2. dont just put it in the wash..it will get ruined..u can buy a little rack t put it in that keeps the shape and then u can put it in the wash.   Definetly dont just put it in the wsh..IT WILL DEF RUIN IT

  3. If you don't want the colours to run, soak it in a cold water and vinegar solution to set the colours. Then, if it is a cotton ball cap, place it over a bowl (snug) and wash it in the dishwasher on gentle, not too hot. This should get it clean and not ruin it. If it is a wool cap, then I would only wash it by hand.

  4. Carwash with the top down. Find one with red & white stripey brushes.

  5. You put it in your dishwasher. There is actually a thing you can buy at Walmart or Kmart/Target that will keep the shape of the hat for you.It is made of plastic and you put your cap inside it. It gets it clean and allows it to keep its shape. If you put it in  the clothes washer then you are putting it at high risk for the bill of the cap to be bent badly out of shape. I have 3 boys. One of them actually plays baseball for a college team. Trust me when I tell you that I know what I am talking about when it comes to washing caps and keeping their shape. Hope this helps. If you can't find the plastic thing that holds the hat in place then try to find something to put under the hat that will keep its shape in place and lay the bill across the racks so it cannot bend down in the dishwasher.

  6. put it in the washer on a gentle/short cycle by itself. add a little detergent and it should come clean! if your still not sure try hand washing it in the sink =)

  7. I think you can put it in the washer, it should be fine.

  8. Here is the correct way. I have  cleaned many expensive and rare baseball hats.  Use the bathroom sink or  a clean bucket.Fill with luke warm water to which you have added some mild dish           detergent  and some non chlorine bleach. use just enough soap tomake it sudsy about an ounce same with the bleach. let the hat soak over night . you can use asoft brush on it if needed, rinse in luke warm water and let it dry indoors on a thick towel . if the bill doesn't hold up you have a cheapie not worth saving  . you should be fine if you follow these instructions

  9. wash it with a wash cloth and some water. maybe some soap if its realy bad.

  10. put it in the dishwasher, i think there are even some devices that r made for it.
