Anyone have a honeymoon in mexico?

Question

Looking for a good place in mexico for our honeymoon. We can get a good deal in puerto viartlloo. Any ideas where to go that we can be romantic but still go se historic sites and eat well.

We went to La Paz - away from the crowds, I loved it.  Small town and the people were VERY friendly.  

We stayed at the La Concha hotel, it was great!  Dining and dancing on site.  Very very very nice.

We were on a budget and it all worked out very well!

We honeymooned at The Adventura/Spa Palace in the Rivera Maya.  It was great...Adults only.  But I would suggest The Royal in Cancun!  It is the best resort we have been to in Mexico.  Adults only with great food.  The beds are amazing.  You never have to leave your room with the 24 hour room service.  They have tours you can take.  The website is www.realresorts.com.  Good Luck!

As an agent I've done honeymoons all over mexico.  the best reviews I get are with Los Cabos.  Dreams all inclusive is beautiful but there are others that are great too.  There are things to do but still small enough that its intimate.
