Anyone have a mom that.....

Question

Thinks she can call the shots in your house and run you family even thou she lives in her own house and every time you say no or run your family or house the way you want she has a fit and causes a war?

By the way is there a clinical name for this type of person?

I think your mom has control issues.  She also sounds like a "Type A" personality.  (Look it up, very interesting).

She, in her own sort of messed up way, just wants the best for you and your family.

When you don't follow suit, you get the silent treatment and sometimes an all out battle.

All I can say, is love her dearly, BUT stand your ground.

She should trust that she has raised you up good enough to make all the right decisions for your family.

Nope!  I've been blessed with a great mom.  Don't get me wrong she can get on my nerves, but she's great and knows her boundaries.  You need to set some boundaries.  I wish you the best!
