Anyone have a pet parakeet? i have a diet ?

this morning i was eating an nature valley bar and my bird was on my chest talking to me like she always does. i took a bite of my food and she reached over and started to eat it. she has plenty of food in her cage so i'm thinking she liked it. i'd let her have more but i don't know if its safe for her to eat. tell me what you think.. thanks

I don't think it will hurt her. especially if it is a treat every now and then.

Ask a vet or someone that works at the pet store you got her from. If not, I suggest getting one of those treats that hang on the side of their cage. My parakeets LOVE them, and enjoy eating them a lot. I think on the wrapper it says Kräcker... But yeah they really love them.

The bird obviously likes it and it isnt doing much harm to you! Let him finish yours off occasionally, she'll love it!

Aw that's so cute. Anyways i suggest you don't, as though there are some bad ingredients in there, that's not health for your keet.
