Yes, I can help you. The currency is the US dollar because Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the US, all puerto ricans have been US citizens since 1917.  There are almost 4 million people living in PR. The people & the culture is a mix of Spanish(white), Taino indian & african. San Juan is the capitol city of PR. The climate is tropical. The edges of the island is all beaches & the central part is all green mountains. We have a rain forest & a dry forest. We have caves & waterfalls & small islands too.  The Coqui is a small tree frog that is one of our national symbols.

A typical meal in PR is usually rice & beans (it can be white rice w/ red or pink beans in a sauce poured on top or yellow rice with the beans mixed in) & then usually a meat to go with it (usually chicken, pork, steak, bacalao/codfish or seafood) & sometimes people add another side like tostones(fried plantain) or avacado. Rum is made in PR & also beer so they are the typical alcohol that you find. Rum is an important export. We also have alot of major pharmacuetical companies here so we export allot of medicines & medical supplies.

Check up Wikipedia thats what i used for my Puerto Rico Project but do not believe everything it says its not all right... unless your a white kid (No offense) if you are then just put whatever you read on there  cause the kids wont know anything about the Island.. so you can get away wit anything that sounds close
