Like, I seen a guy make the cueball do a 90 degree in 4 inches. I just want a basic idea of what to do to do each shot. I mean, I'm not looking for a website that'll help me perfect my shot. I plan to practice the shots to do that.

  1. Check out my videos and tutorials. Hope they help.

  2. Google is you best friend.

    First site I found

  3. check out...  www.thecuestick.com

  4. Trickshottim's website is THE best. What's most important when watching these amazing trick shots, is ......

Note the English that he is applying to the cue ball (left, right, top, bottom) and the ANGLE of the cue stick.

Note the stroke: Is it a "punch"? Is it a long stroke? Is it a "drill"? Whatever the stroke ----he never drops his shoulder, and always keeps his head steady ---GREAT technique in any fashion of cue sports.

Watch the execution: Notice that he NEVER drops his shoulder and watch his follow through.

Application is EVERYTHING. After you take mental notes of these video clips -----put it into action ---get a REAL FEEL for shooting, by doing just that......shooting! The only way you'll be able to control your speed, power, execution, and adjustments, is to actually practice.

    Good luck and have fun!

  5. The two previous answers are good. You many also want to visit a local pool hall and ask around to see who the seasoned players are and ask them to show you how to perform some of the shots you've seen. Reading about it is one thing but seeing it done and being able to try it yourself will be an entirely different experience. You might also want to purchase a book by Robert Byrne titled Standard Book of Pool and Billiards. It has a wealth of information for any player from a novice to a veteran player.
