  1. Where are you located?

EDIT: You may not believe this, but I grew up in Western PA.....in Greene County.  I lived in Carmichaels.   What city you are in!!!

I'm not too familiar with Indiana County, but let me do some research and get back to you.

  2. go to a local church and they should have someone to give you some guidance... don't worry if you're not religious, they won't care

ok so you got me thinking, i understand you are in a rural place; here in Houston they have these things called labor pools, where you go in and the company sends you off to whatever job site has requested workers. they give you whatever clothes you need for the job and pay you in cash everyday. they will also offer you a ride to wherever you are staying. i understand that this is not a full time 9-5 with housing, but it acts as an opportunity for various companies to see you in the work environment and with a clear mind, you can use that money for what's most important. good luck

  3. Check around the city you live in for a shelter. Usually they can help you find employment and with all of the above =)

  4. One of my friends went through exactly what you've been through. It's tough.

A few years back I was at a bar with a group of people and this guy was asking everyone to buy him drinks. I talked to him for a few minutes and he was telling me about how he left home when he was 16 and has been living on the streets since then.

I motivated him to do more for himself.. obviously some experiences that you have can't be forgotten, but it doesn't mean that you can't be happy.  He went from being a no body, to a Rehab Counsellor.

It's hard to get into new habits, but it's worth it in the end. Ultimately you can pull yourself through this...as long as you believe you can!
