I have a Lenovo laptop got December of 07. I am under warranty until next this December. I was wondering if anyone knew if the keys are included in the warranty? I really dont want to waste my time sitting on hold for hours just to find out they arent. I use my laptop daily and the shift key out of no where popped off and I tried to pop it back on and it must have a peice broken off and then the following day I lost my y key and it too wont pop on. I called to ask about the coverage but was on hold for an hour before I decided to hang up and I called again and was on hold again for nearly an hour. So if anyone knows keys are covered under my warranty I would greatly appreciate the info.

I have already checked out their website and it has no information as to what is covered under the warranty and neither does my book it says to call for information on your warranty.

  1. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad I got about 2 years ago and I got a three year warranty on it my warranty covers any hardware issues that include replacement parts but that is my warranty I got the best one I could at the time did you just get the standard warranty or did you pay extra your service depends on what kind of warranty you got to begin with check your documentation to see what the original plan was
