My friends/family are from Seattle and we live in Prince Edward County. There's a great beach here to take them and lots of wineries also, but where else can I take them?

  1. they all want to see Niagara Falls.. maid of the mist, underground tunnels, wax museums and such.  Marineland close by too.  Thats a full day there.

Toronto ... CN tower, Ontario Place, Science center another full day.,

Wonderland (north of Toronto) is another full day.. awesome roller coasters.. water park and kids theme park.

If that doesnt fill them up... Ottawa museums (museum of civilzation) parlkiament buildings etc.. worth a visit.

  2. O.K. take them to the wineries, and you can take them to the beach, but what do they really like to do?? Go with what your guests like to do.  If it is the wilderness, I say go to Algonquing Park, there are lots of places to stay there, and wild life sights to see there, you could spend a week or so right there.  There are the Casinos all through Ontario.  There is Niagra, and while you are there, show them the Falls too.  There is Orillia, they have a great casino there, unique decor.  Wonderland for the kids if ther are any.   There are some great restaurants  in Toronto, and some shopping too.  There is a Great Lakes Boat tour, not sure how to get in touch with them but I am sure that you can google it.  Then there is Pelee Island, the most southerly land in Canada.  It would be neat to see that, there are wineries there too.  Just a simple road trip through out northern Ontario which could take up to a week, or two or three, depending on what you want to see and enjoy.  Don't forget the Wawa Goose, and the Terry Fox stature in North western part of Ontario.  Oh and there is the Time Zone rest stop west of Thunder bay if you want to got that far north west.  Then there is Manitoulin Island...that is the largest fresh water Island in North America, It is very rural but also very scenic .  You can go by ferry via the Bruce Peninsula or by land if you enter it from the north over a  bridge.  Mentioning the Bruce, reminds me of the Bruce trail if your friends are interested in hiking...the Bruce Trail is nice to experience or the Trans Canada trail would be another hiking experince, you can find that all through Ontario.  There is just so much to see and do in Ontario...it would take a whole page and a day to list them all.  Have you ever seen Uncle Tom's Cabin (slave haven in Canada for the escapees way back when)  Good luck with it, you have a lot on your plate.

  3. Ontario is really big. Friends can mean anything. Where are you, how far are you willing to travel, and what do your friends like?
