Anyone have any idea what color to paint my room with this bedding?

Here is a link for a picture of the bedding set I have. http://tinyurl.com/567bo5 I'd really like to paint the walls, because they're white, and I personally don't care for it at all. Does anybody have any particular shades that would look good? There's just so many colors to choose from.

As you may know, your computer monitor and photographs are not accurate for color so it is not quite possible to recommend a specific color without seeing the bedding in person. I will say though that it is a very exotic and lush bedding set and one which calls for a romantic setting. It looks to me that there is a very deep burgundy that is on the warm side. When I do interiors, I very rarely match fabrics to paint because every good colorist knows that doing so creates a "flat" room. Instead I like to look at the entire palette of materials in the space and then develop one which could be their color "friend". If this were my space, I'd stay away from the obvious match-y approach of gold or red. Instead, based on the photo and what I am seeing, I'd go for a very rich chocolate brown with red undertones. A bedroom is a relaxation space and one which needs to have a color which looks good under incandescent lighting because most people only use their bedrooms at night. It should be an intimate color and one which makes you feel warm. I would like to be more exact but it is difficult without the fabric in front of me. One last point, when painting a dark color, it will be necessary to use a tinted primer first. Then also, please don't choose a paint with a sheen. Darker colors need to have a matte finish paint in order to create a lush, velvety look. Good luck!
