Anyone have any ideas about Laptops?

I have an Acer laptop that has bust. When I turn it on it come on with a black screen which has the options to start windows as normal, or to start a fixing the problem, I have tried both of these. Start windows as normal just keeps restarting and the other way does nothing much. Anyone have any ideas? I have never had my original CD to reset it all, so I don't know what to do???

I think u have to reformat ur laptop...

Borrow OS cd from your friends and try repairing windows

or else contact a service center.

if you are not getting your laptop in either of the ways(normal or safe modes), you just press F8 when you start ur machine and choose the option "last known configuration". This might resolve your problem.

Mine had this problem too. I tried everything and I ended up with the blue screen of death coming up which allows you to do nothing. I had to get my mum's friend who knows all about computers and stuff to fix it. That's about the only thing you can do - send it off to get fixed before it gets worse and becomes more expensive to fix. Good luck.

Do you mean its running under safe mode? choose start windows normally. It will help you get to your windows correctly.
