Ok, so my b/f Adam and I have been dating 6 months on Sept. 15th... and Sept 19th is his 18th b-day, both very important dates and events to us. We are in a long distance relationship, I live in Washington State and he lives in Georgia... He is trying to get his parents to fly me down for his b-day, but we arent sure if they will go for it. I still want to get him a gift for each event, even if I make it myself. I dont have a lot of money to spend, thanks to living expenses, so whatever I get or make will have to be inexpensive. I know he'd love anything from me but I am out of ideas... I want to send him something unique and special, but I am at a loss as to what! Anyone have any ideas? 10 points to the best answer!

  1. If you see him then set up a romantic evening with him and honestly if you don't have a lot of money thats ok... Most men are more interested in getting some lovin' then a gift of some sort.

  2. make him a picture album...decorate it with stickers that collate with each picture...get him a digital picture frame and put all your pics into it...go to target...they have nice ones that are inexpensive....write him a poem...put a message in a bottle for him...get him one of those oversized cards and send it to him at work...also giftsfor you now.com is cool because you can search for personalized gifts by occasion and age and other areas of interest

  3. I made an ex a really cool shirt once. I found some website where you upload your own pictures, place them on the shirt along with any text, and they send it to you. It kinda takes awhile though... It was only like $20 though... you'd probably have to do rush delivery which would probably be a lot more though.

Or just burn him a CD of songs that make you think of him. That's always cute.

Or get him a bunch of his favorite candy. I do that for my boyfriend all the time, haha. It lets him know that I pay attention to what he likes and I'm always thinking about him. :)

  4. This will probably sound like I'm one of those people who spam crappy websites, but it's not.  I adore the site http://www.lovingyou.com   They have tons of ideas like that, which I have used myself from time to time.  Some of them are really creative and unique.  Plus they have all of the other helpful relationship tricks.  Check it out if you get a chance; I think that will solve your problem pretty quickly!

  5. get him a stuffed animal for your aniversary, one you think will remind him of you every time he sees it.

for his birthday? just find something he likes, something cheesy thatll make you both laugh.

i like the candy idea above, if it was me i would love that lol.

    candy is nice
