People that handle student affairs at my campus never even heard of it so they couldn't give me any pointers. Which is strange since ONE has over 2 million members. So I'm looking forward to your ideas

  1. Two million members is not a lot of people, and I had never heard of it either (I had to Google it).

It looks like, first, you need to do some marketing.  With all the programs out there that are similar in scope, it is a hard sell to get people interested, especially with such combined goals of fighting AIDS and solving poverty.  Either one of those by themselves would be enough (and is) for any other organization.

Go and sit through a couple of other groups meetings and see how they do it and then tailor your message.    Check with the local chapters of the partner organizations and see what they can do to help.

Finally, check with the organization itself - I am sure ONE has a marketing package that can be used around campus to help drum up support and market the organization's message.

    Good luck!
