I have Jeff Baker and Clint Barnes is coming back today off of the DL and they say he'll probably start. Should I drop Baker for Barnes or wait? Thanks.

  1. Clint Barnes was a horse two years ago before breaking his ankle/leg carrying groceries.  He was coming back strong before going on the DL.  Baker appears to be a horse and he is batting well.  Do you think Clint will hit well his first week back?  Will they cut into each others playing time and who will get the bulk of it (Barnes).  It always goes to the senior player.  I have Barnes as my SS and just dropped the Angel SS who is having leg problems.

If you can, you may want both.  But if its a choice, I consider the questions above.  If Barnes cuts into Bakers' playing time he may not be worth keeping.

  2. Although Baker is swinging a hot bat right now, Barmes is going to end up getting most of the playing time at 2B for the Rockies. If you HAVE to drop one of the two, I would drop Baker. I just dropped him from one of my teams and picked up Jeff Keppinger who just came off the DL to fill my middle-infield spot.
