  1. Bearded Dragons sleep at night and are awake in the day so you can play with them when your awake. Some actually injoy being handled. When they are babys they 4 inches but when they get to be adults they are 19-23 inches. You probably would want to get a glass or plastic cadge in a 30 inch inclosure with the baby. But when it gets older you'll need to get a 48 inch x 13 inch tank. A wood chip beading would make it difficult for the bearded dragon to find crickets to eat because they hide under the beading. Sand or fine gravel is good. It would be good to have 2 to 3 layers. Bearded dragons also need heat so make sure you buy a pad or get a heating lamp. To much heat though can be as dangorus as not enough. You have to clean the cadge weekly and wash to food bowls daily. They do not need grooming but a quick shower wouldn't hurt now and then. They should be feed live bugs vegtibles and fruit. You can feed them commercially-breed crickets, meal worms, wax worms, and juvenile Madagascar hissing cockroaches for live bugs. You need to let them stay away from outside bugs so you must go to petstores a lot. Finely chopped fruits and vegies are the best to feed to your pet. They also live up to 12 years at the most. These are great animals they don't  bite they have great personalitys and they make great pets!!!

  2. They live in China

  3. I'm not an expert about this subject.  But I can tell you that my daughter-in-law has a bearded dragon that is about 15" long and she is crazy about him.  This animal loves to be picked up, stroked and held.  If she lays down to take a nap, she puts the dragon next to her head on the pillow and it remains there until she wakes up.

She is a teacher and takes it almost everywhere she goes, esp to class.  It is a very docile creature and makes a big hit wherever she takes him.  She even takes him with her (in her bag) when they go out to eat.  Never a problem!

I asked her the other day how she would feel if the beardie died.  She said that she would be devastated.  I'm planning on getting one before too much longer.

  4. hmm well they are pretty cool but not very loving but they know who their owner is and will come over to u and stuff. neway they eat ALOT like 6-10 crickets a day plus fresh veggies and sometimes fruit for a treat. you also have to get them a heating lamp and turn it off at night and on in the morning. When my mom bought one for my brother it cost her over $200 for the cage and sand and lamps and everything so ya it gets expensive... neway thts all i can think of right now hope it helps

  5. hope you like insects cause your gonna have to get millions of crickets and veggies also its easy to take care of but it also takes time your gonna need uvb and a basking witch is uva  hope you do great  godd luck

  7. hi, i have a juvinile beardie (lola). i have 3 lights (sun, heat+light, heat) i used to feed her live crickets, dusted in calcuim, but i soon got tired of the caring for lola as well as her dinner. i switched to these things called can o crickets, and she loves them. i feed her a salad every once in a while. as gross as this sounds, when she hasn't pooped in a while, i give her a bath. that supposedly stimulates them to do there business.

mine is very loving, i hand feed her all the time. she loves being taken outside to play. i have NEVER been bitten! so ignore the guy that said that they dont like to be played with. some people even say that there beards turn black when lonely!

STAY AWAY FROM ICEBURG LETTUCE!!!! that stuff is really bad for them. if u go to a petstore, they usually know a thing or two about them.

here, u can go to some of the sites below.

  9. Bearded Dragons are from Australia not China! try looking for a bearded dragon manual in any book store and that will give you some help! When handling a Bearded Dragon, always attempt to scoop from underneath rather than going in from above or you may frighten them, it shows a sign of respect and won't hardly run from u! it works but it takes time!
