Anyone have any information about the Mescalero Apache tribal nation?

My dad is full Mescalero Apache and all 14 children were born there except him. It is very important that I find out how to be recognized by our tribe. I don't know where to start. My dad isn't in the greatest health, and it is very disheartening to see how little help there is, especially when this is our pride.

  1. I can not help you with your quest. I can tell you, however, that the Mescaleros were the most feared by whites in the entire southwest.


  2. you can go to the american indian education center it is in cleveland ohio they do have a web site  it is aiecc.net  you can contact them and they will get back to you and let you know exactly what you need to do

  3. The  Indian tribe you are interested originated on the Mexico border. I was born and raised in Tucson and was close to all of that .My Mom was also born in Tucson ,Arizona. go to Arizona history in most libraries. there are several Apache reservations in and around Arizona, San Carlos,reservation. Get busy as they change things regular!!!
