My Boxster is a nightmare to maintain and spends half the time with the dealer...looking for something a bit more reliable. Thanks.

  1. I worked on porches, so I know what you are talking about. the mini's do need attention like all european cars, but it's not as expensive to maintain.

  2. i bought my Mini CooperS  (2005) last April, and honestly it is the best investment i've ever made! It is sturdy, runs like a charm and is incredibly good on gas! They are surprisingly roomy on the inside too! I used to have a Chevy Malibu, and not to say anything bad about American Made cars (my Malibu finally died after 10 years of long and loyal services and around 130k miles (i was driving around 2500 miles a month the last 2 years i had it)), I feel much safer in the Mini! Like i said, it is sturdy and so well put together!

  3. The Mini Cooper's reliability is average. Not as good as Japanese cars.

Maintenance is also expensive and it also requires premium gas like the Porsche.

  4. Your choice of what sort of car to drive can say a lot about your sexual preferences... one bad choice and you could be fighting off the Village People
