Anyone have any suggestions where to go in barcelona for new years eve?

Ramblas is fine, but a bit touristy and not the best place to go. If its a good night life you want in Barco' then head for Port Olympic, it is a great complex of different bars and eating places where the party athmosphere is great during the week. There are casino,s nearby and always taxis there. Thats where I would go.

A night out down the Ramblas would be night to remember.

the old square in the centre of town.

Las Ramblas leads off from the square and is a hive of activity all night.

I used to work at the Hard Rock Cafe which is in the square, and was there for the millennium!!
