Anyone have any thoughts or experiences about the 2008 Honda Shadow Aero?

I am considering the purchase of this bike. The MSRP is approximately $7500.- . I welcome comment regarding this bike's reliability, performance and value for $$$$$'s spent. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

It is a very good motorcycle if you are not looking for a Harley. Smooth and easy to ride. enough power but not surprising one.

I just bought a 2007 Shadow Aero awsome bike go for it you will not regret. It has classic look good power. My first bike and I have already made trips of 100 mile one way. Although are you sure $7500 is the MSRP? I think honda website lists it for $6799.

If the 2008 is anything like the 2005 Shadow Aero, I'd recommend it because that's what I ride.

I like the use of shaft drive rather than chain drive (as I had on my two previous bikes).  I also love the classic cruiser styling ... it's a gorgeous bike.

If you and/or your passenger weighs much or you plan on doing very longs trip, you might want to look at a larger bike.  Otherwise, I'd say you get value for money with this bike.  It's a good compromise between large cruiser looks and a relatively economical engine.
