  1. This past spring the AP Biology tests were graded much harder than usual. The national average went from 16% being ones, to 35% being ones, so AP Bio will be even more difficult to pass this year.

I took AP Bio this last year, and I highly suggest making a review sheet at the end of each chapter. Include the overall picture, with just a few specific facts. Essential things to know are cellular respiration, the krebs cycle, the photosynthesis equation, and the animal kingdom classifications. This way you will be able to study all the chapters again before the AP exam. The AP study guides are somewhat helpful, but I always found that there was jut too much information to really be helpful when studying before exams.

As far as US History goes, review sheets are also helpful. I suggest learning the overall sequence of events in United States history. It is very helpful, especially on the essays. It allows you to compare different time periods and presidents with each other. Also, be sure to know the main things that each president did.

Overall, just keep reviewing throughout the year, and the AP exams will be no problem for you.
