Any problems with the semi auto .22 feeding shells or do they do well? How about the 9mm?

  1. I've shot two Calico 22's and they will both jam at one time or another.  Both guns will function flawlessly if the gun is lubed and cleaned. Jamming is less frequent with 9mm models but it will still happen. Their unique 100/50 shot rotary magazine is the cause of the problem. Magazines for both .22 and 9mm are expensive and not readily available. Both .22 and 9mm are fun to shoot and fairly accurate. I really like their bottom eject design. Their sights aren't that great though.

  2. Sounds like a cheap not well known company to me.

  3. I shot a 9mm version a long time ago.

It had the 50 round helical drum mag. I do remember having to fiddle with it more than a couple times to get it to feed.

It was a cool range toy but with the feed problems I wouldn't use it for self defense.

    I hope that helps
