  1. I love banana smooties, but with a little extra.....

One banana (large or use 2 small ones)

    scoop of vanilla icecream

about a cup or a little more of milk

    level tablespoon of powdered malt

    tablespoon of honey

Chuck it all in a blender and blend until smooth and thick!

TOTALLY DELICOUS and filling so you can have as a meal!!

YUMMMMYYYY!!!!! =) Im going to make one tonight!

  2. 1/3 cup stick butter, softened

    1 egg

    1 teaspoon vanilla

    1/3 cup Equal® Spoonful*

1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

    3/4 cup all-purpose flour

    1/2 teaspoon baking soda

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Beat butter with electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended. Mix in Equal and brown sugar until combined.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Mix into butter mixture until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoons on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 350° F oven 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden color. Transfer to wire rack and let cool. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.

  3. Here are some great smoothie ideas:

    strawberry smoothie:

    4 strawberries

    1 cup of ice

    1/2 cup of milk

    vannilla sugar(reg sugar is fine)

you can do this as a banana or a strawberry banana smoothie too.

if you want it to be low fat then use fat free milk.

    coffee frap:

2 tbl spoons of coffee (melt it with hot water)

    1/2 cup of milk

    1 1/2 cups of ice

    sugar

You can also make a chocolate bar smoothie as follows:

a chocolate bar of your choosing such as a recess or a hersheys or a twix

vanilla icecream (1 serving per person)

    1/2 cup of milk

you can use any flavor of ice cream

    Hope that helped!!!!!

  4. Are you a coffee fan? If so, this is my all-time favorite cookie recipe. I don't make it often because it's a little more work than classic chocolate chip cookies, but when I do take the time to make it, boyyy is it a treat!

And here's another one of my favorites. It's a fun twist on chocolate chip. :)

I don't have anything to say about smoothies because I usually just improvise with yogurt, milk, juice, fruit depending on what I have on hand... sorryyyy. Hope you enjoy!

  5. I've tried almost all of these with my Girl Scout troop and my daughters' friends. The fruit is frozen, which gives the smoothies a really good texture. Pina Colada is my favorite.

    Fruit Smoothies

    Berry Blast

    1 cup apple juice

    1 1/2 cups lemonade

    1 cup frozen raspberries

    1/2 cup frozen strawberries

    1 cup raspberry sherbet

    Peach Refresher

2 cups peach nectar or apple juice

    1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt

    1/2 banana

    1 cup peach yogurt

1 1/2 cups frozen peach slices

    Pina Colada

    5 Tbs. Coconut milk

    2 1/2 cups pineapple juice

    1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

    1/2 frozen banana (chunks)

1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple chunks

    Raspberry Sunrise

    2 1/2 cups orange juice

    1 1/2 cups frozen raspberries

    1 cup raspberry sherbet

    Raspberry Cream

    1 cup orange juice

    1 cup raspberry yogurt

    1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt

    1/2 frozen banana (chunks)

    1 1/2 cup frozen raspberries

    Strawberry Banana Supreme

1 cup strawberry nectar or apple juice

    1 cup milk

    1 frozen banana

    1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries

    1 cup strawberry yogurt

Pour all liquid ingredients into the blender. Add all frozen ingredients. Blend at MIX setting for 30 seconds then blend at SMOOTH setting until smooth. While the machine is running, move the stir stick around counter-clockwise to aid mixing. Serve immediately. Each recipe serves 3-5.

And here are my two favorite cookie recipes:

    Chewy Sugar Cookies

    1 ¼ c. butter

    2 c. sugar

    2 eggs

    2 t. vanilla

    ½ t. salt

    1 t. baking soda

    2 ¾ c. flour

    ¼ c. sugar for decoration

Preheat oven to 350°.  In a large bowl, cream together butter and 2 cups sugar until light and fluffy.  Beat in the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla.  Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just blended.  Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and roll the balls in the remaining ¼ cup of sugar.  Place cookies 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets and flatten slightly.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly browned at the edges.  Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

    Ooey Gooey Lemon Cookies

    8 oz. cream cheese

    1 - 18½ oz. lemon cake mix

    ½ c. softened butter

    ¼ c. powdered sugar

    1 egg

Cream together cream cheese & butter.  Stir in egg & vanilla.  Add cake mix & stir until well blended.  Refrigerate for 30 min.  Roll into 1" balls & refrigerate for 30 more min.  Roll balls in powdered sugar.  Bake at 350° for 10-13 min.

(Baking with an Air Bake cookie sheet & parchment paper works great.)

  6. Both are my favorite

    Napoleon Creams

Canadians know these as Nanaimo Bars. The difference is that the Original Nanaimo Bar recipe uses custard powder, whereas this recipe uses vanilla pudding mix, a more easily available ingredient in some areas.

    Makes about 44

    1/2 cup margarine

    1/4 cup cocoa powder

    1/4 cup granulated sugar

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1 egg, beaten

    2 cups crushed graham crackers

    1 cup flaked sweetened coconut

    1/2 cup margarine

    3 tablespoons milk

1 3-3/4-ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix

    2 cups powdered sugar

    1 6-ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips

    2 tablespoons margarine

In the top of a double boiler over medium heat combine 1/2 cup margarine, cocoa, sugar, and vanilla. Stir until margarine is melted. Add one beaten egg. Stir until thickened, about 3 minutes. Add graham crackers and coconut, mix well. Press into a greased 9x9" baking pan. Cream together 1/2 cup margarine, milk, pudding mix, and powdered sugar. Beat until fluffy, then spread over the crust. Chill until firm. In the top of a clean double boiler over low heat, stir together chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons margarine until melted. Cool slightly and spread over pudding layer. Chill until set. Cut into small bars (2" x 3/4") to serve

    ------

    -----ALMOND MILK-----

    1/2 c Almonds

    1 tb Syrup, maple

    2 c Water

    -----SMOOTHIE-----

    2 c Fruit -- frozen

    1 tb Syrup, maple

    Use raw almonds.

Freeze strawberries, bananas, blueberries, peaches, or

    fruit of your choice.

Place almonds in blender and grind to fine powder. Add

syrup and 1 c water. Blend 1-2 minutes until smooth.

With blender running on high, slowly add remaining

water. Blend 2 minutes. Place strainer over large

bowl. Line with cheesecloth (not 100% neccessary, but

recommended. Otherwise strain twice with very fine

strainer.) Pour almond milk slowly into strainer and

let filter through. When all milk has passed through

strainer, press remaining milk out of accumulated

almond fiber. Milk will keep in fridge 4-5 days.

Leftover fiber can be used as moisturizing body scrub

in the shower. Blend almond milk and shake ingredients

in blender until creamy. Frozen bananas will begin to

discolor after a week or so. Eat shakes right away,

because the bananas can oxidize, changing the

appearence and taste. Use only ripe bananas for the

    best smoothie.
