  1. I graduated from business school several years ago and I am very happy I did. I wouldn't take it back for anything. There are some days where I wish that I could have had enough money to pursue some of my hobbies as careers (fashion, music, and cosmetology) and get a degree, but I would never have traded my degree for experience in a skilled trade. Knowing that I will probably be making 6 figures in less than 5 years solidifies my decision.

  2. I got a bachelors degree and now I've been in school for 2 years to become a court reporter. Its a trained career, no degree, just a certificate when you are finished. I am glad I got the bachelors because I worked hard my whole life and always wanted to accomplish that, but I will not really be using it as a career. Court reporting will make me money and allow me to have a guaranteed career. The only jobs I could find after graduating college were sales jobs, which is not my thing. Getting specialized in a trade is the way to go these days.

  3. Earning a college degree is an accomplishment in life you have forever.  Each year our colleges/universities graduate more students than previous year.

"Supply and demand" now allow businesses, corporations, etc., to hire only the best.  GPA's below 3.0 are ordinary, therefore, many times "denied", even for an interview.  Types of degrees "hold value" as well.  Business degrees should be "specialized", i.e., Business Management, Finance, etc.  A degree in Business Administration is now an entry level job.
