Anyone have ideas for a new sandwich?

I am going to a baby shower in which I'm making little sandwiches. Does anyone have any unique and interesting ideas for what I should take?

On the T.V. show Dexter one of the characters would eat cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches. At first I thought this was very strange, but once I tried it, it's very good!

PB&J with potato chips are tasty too!

Start with a bagel, put cream cheese on both slices. Then put some Turkey and some Cheddar cheese. When you are finished cut into fourths.

Smoked Salmon on herbed butter bread. Use dill, rosemary and thyme along with garlic and salt/pepper to the herbed butter.

My mom (and I) always make miniature cream puffs, and fill them with egg salad, chicken salad or ham salad for appetizer sandwich bites ....  or, my mom would make a Sandwich Loaf for showers.  Get an unsliced loaf of bread and slice it horizontally into 3 layers.  Fill with egg, chicken, etc. salad and restack.  Beat 8 oz. softened cream cheese with a little milk (or cream) and frost the outside of the loaf;  sprinkle parsley on top.  Slice down through the layers to serve.....

These sandwiches aren't very little, but you can take out some of the ingredients. This is a 2 foot long  sandwich that you can cut into pieces. Ok

seriously this is absolutely delicious--

take regular ordinary white bread and spread w. mayo

(cut crust off first)

cook asparagus spears til softened

put one asparagus spear on a slice of bread and roll it up and stick w. a toothpick to hold-

take each roll and cut into smaller segments.  that's it.  

They're soooo good...,and I hate mayo and I love them.

Beefsteak bread, honey ham, lettuce, crunched up chips and plantation dressing.

Get country style pork ribs and cook them in a crock pot with apricot marmelade and whatever kind of bbq sauce, then when its done, use forks to shred the pork.  This meat is great on sammies.  And you can bring the bread and slow cooker along so people can throw it on the bread themselves.

what you will need, Ham, Turkey, Cheddar and swiss cheese, powdered sugar and Texas toast. fry up your Ham and Turkey and set it a side. then fix your Texas toast like french toast, when it is done sprinkle the powdered sugar lightly on the inside of each slice of toast add ham then cheddar cheese Turkey and the swiss cheese and grill for a couple minutes, serve with hot syrup.
