I am going there on September 4th for a week and would like to know the best things to visit. Also the best luau to visit? Thanks

Be sure to take the drive to the North Shore, and the drive along the coast, though Kailua, to Waimanalo down to Hawaii Kai.

i stayed near there a couple months ago!

i would say definately check out kailua beach which is just a short drive over to the town of kailua, check out the pali lookout on the pali highway - gives great views of that side of the island and i definately agree with what someone above said - take a drive from kaneohe and travel all the way down to hawaii kai or diamond head. the drive is stunning, there are a lot of little beaches and scenic spots along the way.
